Librarians at the Elizabeth Huth Coates Library act as liaisons to academic departments. The liaison librarian for your department will:

• Provide specialized individual research assistance
• Offer course-related library instruction
• Develop and maintain the library's collections in selected subject areas

The liaison librarian serves as a contact person for faculty, researchers, staff and students in a department. The liaison librarian is available to solve problems, to respond to suggestions about developing the collection and improving library services, and to answer both simple and more involved research questions.
