Spatial Information Resources guide
Spatial data--particularly the files used by GIS software, can be
found online at a number of websites which offer free and for-fee data
files for download.
Data on the campus repository:
A directory on Trinity's campus network
serves as a repository for frequently used data sets, including a number
of campus map layers. Data purchased for use and data created by Trinity
faculty, students, and staff can also be stored there. The repository
can be accessed directly from ArcGIS Desktop, once the network drive has
been mapped.
- City of San Antonio/Bexar County
GIS data (with projection assigned)
- Campus aerial photos and CAD lines
- Texas geographic boundaries
including census geographies
- World CountryWatch demographic and
economic data
