This year, the library put
a twist into their annual new student orientation event. "Blood on the Stacks" is a mystery game centered on the library
and its resources. It's part game, part treasure hunt, and part
learning experience.
In the storyline for the mystery event, a
rare Egyptian jar has been stolen and held for ransom. Participants
have a chance to find the jar by answering questions related to library
resources. Prizes included gift certificates and two $75 cash awards.
