New Databases
Each year, the Trinity
library faculty spends a great deal of time and energy selecting new
resources to help you achieve your research goals. Our intent is to
make sure our faculty, students, and staff have access to the best selection
of articles and more, and that access to these items is as efficient as
possible.
The following databases
were added to our collection in Spring 2007. For a complete list of

Historical Statistics of the United States
This database includes
more than 37,000 annual time series of quantitative historical information
on population, work and welfare, economic structure and performance,
governance, and international relations of the United States, all from
Colonial times to the present. Tables of statistics can be downloaded into
Microsoft Excel or sets of tables can be downloaded as a .zip file.

LION: Literature Online
Spanning 1,400 years,
LION provides access to over 260,000 fully searchable English-language
literary texts. In addition it contains major reference works, journals,
biographies, and bibliographies. Topical sections for searching or browsing
include the following: African American Poetry, American Drama, 1714-1915,
American Poetry, Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature,
1920- (ABELL), Canadian Poetry, Early American Fiction 1789-1850, Early
