Databases

L’Année philologique
Main scholarly index for studying all aspects of the ancient Greek and Roman world. Indexes over 1,500 periodicals each year as well as articles from collections and conference papers. No full text.

Perseus Digital Library
Digital library offering access to primary texts, secondary sources, site plans, digital images, and maps. Also includes word study tools linked to Greek and Latin lexica, as well as extensive art and archaeology catalogs.

Humanities Abstracts
Indexes mostly scholarly journals in religion, philosophy, literature, and related areas; includes a small number of full-text titles.

ABZU
ABZU is a guide to resources for the study of the ancient near East, including Egypt, on the Internet.

Diotima
This site provides access to materials for the study of women and gender in the classical world. It can be searched for online book reviews, articles, images, and related information. A newly added feature is online peer-reviewed articles.
