Citing Sources:  Styles for Specific Subject Areas

The most common citation style guidelines are the MLA (Modern Languages Association), APA (American Psychological Association), Chicago, and Turabian styles.  However, these are only four of many many different styles used to give credit to information resources.

The following resources may also be of assistance when using citation guidelines other than the four listed above:

Trinity University Style Guide: Write It Right
This guide is designed as a tool to maintain consistency and ensure high quality communications in both print and electronic formats. It is based generally on The New York Times Style Guide, but includes some exceptions specifically related to Trinity.

You may first want to try the library's web-based bibliographic manager, RefWorks.  RefWorks can take a citation and format it into any of a large number of different styles.  Ask at the library's Help Desk in the Information Commons if you need assistance with RefWorks.
