Institute of European Studies/Institute of Asian Studies: This is a non-profit organization which provides study abroad opportunities for American college students.

International Opportunities Program (IOP). UC at Irvine: Best site on the web, with directories of U.S. and non-U.S. based study abroad programs, links to other directories, and extensive guides for working abroad.

International Study and Travel Center (ISTC). Univ. of Minnesota: This is an excellent searchable database for study abroad, low-cost-study broad, scholarships, and a volunteer-abroad directory; .
National Registration Center for Study Abroad: Selection processes by country, language, how to select the best school for you. Includes an online registration form.

Peterson's Education Center, Study Abroad Sector: This is a commercial directory of study abroad programs. Composed of a database of programs offered by accredited colleges, universities and consortia which can run for a semester or an academic year.

REESWEB: Russian and East European Studies, University of Pittsburgh: Look under "Academic Programs and Centers" for listings of language and study abroad programs.

Studyabroad: Another commercial directory of study and work abroad programs, searchable by language, country, experiential/internship programs, and a master list of sponsors.
