Cataloging

The Cataloging Department is responsible for the cataloging and processing of most library materials. All cataloging is done within established priorities and according to national cataloging standards. The department also maintains the library cataloging database through authority control of headings. The department considers the quality of the catalog to be of primary importance for access and is interested in knowing of any problems or errors found by staff or patrons. Questions about the catalog should be addressed to your liaison librarian.
