All CD-ROMs are listed in Quest, the library catalog, and are located in the U.S. Documents CD-ROM cabinet on the third floor of the library.  See instructions below for searching for them in Quest. For specific categories of materials, follow these links: 

Finding Government CD-ROMs in Quest:

To find Government Document CD-ROMs use the Limits option in Quest.

The Limits feature works most effectively in the "Keyword Search" area.  Use this rather than the Basic Search screen.   Limits do not work for simple author, call number, or subject searches.

• Before completing a Keyword Search, click on the Limits icon (right side of screen below search terms).

• One or more items (use Ctrl-Click to select multiple items) may be chosen from each drop-down list for limiting; these include date, language, location within the library, and for our purposes, "Medium" and "Type."

• To find CD-ROMs, select "Computer File" in the drop-down menu under "Medium."

• Then select "U.S. Documents" from the drop-down menu under "Location."

Click on the "Set Limits" button when finished. The search screen will return displaying a "Search Limits are in effect" message. To change or add limits, click the Limits icon again.
