Trinity University is a private institution, and Trinity's Coates Library is funded almost entirely by private endowments.  The Library's facilities and resources (study space, computers, print holdings, databases, software, etc.) are intended primarily to support the needs of the Trinity community only.  While Coates Library is open to the public and many Library resources and services are freely available to visitors, the Library reserves the right to restrict public access to any of its facilities, resources, or materials.
