Building and Collections

Levels three and four opened in March 1979. Level two was added to create a three-floor facility in October 1983 when the Library was named and re-dedicated in honor of Elizabeth Coates Maddux. During the summer of 1997, level one was finished and opened to the public. The Library was renamed the Elizabeth Huth Coates Library at this time.
