From US 281 Southbound
This is the most direct method from S.A. International Airport. Exit at Hildebrand Ave. and turn right (west); proceed to first stoplight and turn left (south) onto Stadium Drive; drive down the hill and continue on Stadium Dr. to the right at the T intersection; turn right at next campus road (sign says “Laurie Auditorium parking”); the Coates Library will be the building across the street and slightly to the right as you stop at the next stop sign. (However, you may wish to park in the lot before this stop sign.)
From US 281 Northbound
Exit at Stadium Drive and continue on the freeway access road as it goes past two stoplights and then crosses over the freeway; continue straight onto Stadium Dr., passing the stoplight at the main Trinity U. entrance and then down the hill past Alamo Stadium (on your right); turn left at the first street which is marked with a sign saying “Laurie Auditorium parking;” the Coates Library will be the building across the street and slightly to the right as you stop at the next stop sign. (However, you may wish to park in the lot before this stop sign.)
From I-35 Southbound
You may either connect to Loop 1604 or I-410 west to US 281 southbound (then follow the directions above), or follow I-35 to its connection to US 281 northbound slightly south of the campus; stay in the right lane as you merge with US 281 and follow the US 281 northbound directions for the Stadium Dr. exit.Connect onto US 281 northbound (“Johnson City” exit) just south of campus and move quickly from the left merge lane to the far right lane within the next mile, then follow US 281 northbound directions.
From I-10 Eastbound
Connect to I-35 northbound (“Austin” exit) and follow I-35 northbound directions.
From I-10 Westbound
Connect to I-37 northbound, which becomes US 281 north of downtown; then follow US 281 northbound directions.
Parking
Rules for parking lots marked for student, faculty, and staff permits are enforced year-round daily until 4:30 p.m. Visitor spaces are marked in several lots, including the Laurie Auditorium lot to the east of the Library and the lot immediately adjacent to the Library on the north. The Laurie lot requires a one-block walk up a hill and is not recommended for visitors with disabilities.
